A message from the principal

My name is Mike Moch, and I am proud to serve the families of Hilltop Primary School. Hilltop is located in Minnetrista, Minnesota, and serves over 450 students in grades K-4. We also are home to the Westonka Early Learning Center, which provides an outstanding foundation to our kindergarten program.

As a principal and as a parent of Westonka students, I'm pleased with the “just right size” our schools have to promote success for each individual student. Hilltop’s dedicated teachers are committed to challenging and meeting the needs of all students. We continuously work to build character in each and every one of our students.

With each individual student comes a unique educational experience. We invite you to contact us to learn  more about how we can help your child reach their goals.

Hilltop Highlights

Wolf Ridge

For over 40 years, Hilltop fourth-graders have celebrated their rite of passage into middle school at Wolf Ridge Environmental Learning Center.

Positive Behavior Interventions & Supports (PBIS)

The Hilltop Primary School educators continuously work to build character through Positive Behavior Interventions & Supports (PBIS), where our students SOAR (Safe, Own It, Achieve and Respect) every day!

Environmental Education

We are proud to partner with Three Rivers Park District to provide environmental education to students in kindergarten through fourth grade. Our students travel to Dutch Lake, located blocks from Hilltop Primary School. Students apply hands-on skills to standards they have learned and developed through their science curriculum. This experience, led by our naturalist "Mr. Brett," is one of the highlights of our students' week.
